Free Music Notes for Into the Woods (1987 Original Broadway Cast)Free Music Review: Great sound - thin book(let) Hit: 5 Stars
This remaster sounds wonderful. The booklet should include the lyrics and the liner notes are just poor - uninformative and fawning. However the bonus tracks are terrific, alternate lyrics for a children's version and one cut by John Cameron Mitchell before he bloomed into Hedwig (here he's Jack).
Free Music Review: Great CD!!! Hit: 5 Stars
We watched this (movie) broadway show in my Theatre Appreciation class and I loved it. It melds all the childhood stories into one and then you get to see beyond "and they all lived happily ever after..." The music in this show (Sondheim) is wonderful. If you love musicals, you will love this!
Free Music Review: Into the Woods Hit: 5 Stars
If you love Sondheim, this is the best...amazing story, amazing music and wonderful cast. Fairy Tales aren't always happily ever after affairs...but then, neither is life in the real world. You just have to keep following the dream and venturing into the woods
Free Music Review: Into the Woods Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of my absolute favourite Musicals! Into the Woods combines wit and masterful dialogue to delight people of all ages. I love that the first Act is a Fairy Tale and that the second Act is more sinister and dark. Listen for yourself!
