This remaster sounds wonderful. The booklet should include the lyrics and the liner notes are just poor - uninformative and fawning. However the bonus tracks are terrific, alternate lyrics for a children's version and one cut by John Cameron Mitchell before he bloomed into Hedwig (here he's Jack).Free Music Review: Great CD!!!

We watched this (movie) broadway show in my Theatre Appreciation class and I loved it. It melds all the childhood stories into one and then you get to see beyond "and they all lived happily ever after..." The music in this show (Sondheim) is wonderful. This is one of my absolute favourite Musicals! Into the Woods combines wit and masterful dialogue to delight people of all ages.
