This is a classic cd. Years ago this was my first album by Mr. Hayes. It is a pleasure to have it in CD format. The music has wonderful orchestration as well as the great brass section not to mention how he tells the stories in his remakes of other songs. I highly recommend this cd. Musically and vocally a joy, and surely ahead of its time. However, a little less instrumentation and a lot more of Hayes' fabulous voice would go a long way.
