A Deeper Level by Israel and the New Breed is an excellent CD. This group has brought various influences into Gospel/Worship Music and created their own sound. I must admit this is my favorite group in Gospel Music and listening to this CD shows me why. "I Know Who I Am" and "So Come" are the jewels of this CD. Enjoy!!Free Music Review: Surprised to like it

Typically, I am not an Israel fan, as most of his music sounds so similar. There is quite a bit of diversity in this project.Free Music Review: Not Even Deep, Much Less Deeper

Briefly, I'll say that I was disappointed by this CD. The music was not inspired. Many of the songs felt formulaic and didn't move me at all. I felt the absence of appreciation for God's majesty, and Greatness, and lovingkindness, etc. Also, there was far to little mention of the name of Jesus, and as a result, too little adoration of that name. This CD was just music. Maybe good music, but not worship.
One more thing...I didn't like the spoken intervals between songs, and I especially didn't care for all the speaking towards the end (When Israel talked about forgiveness or second chances, I think?). His words felt very affected, not genuine, not sponteneously provoked by the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, I just didn't get into this CD and I wouldn't recommend it.
I would say to Israel: slow down. Lighten your itinerary. Start spending personal, private, extended time with the Lord. It's easy to get so busy ministering to people that we forget to make time to minister to God alone. Especially if you get caught up in the business of ministry, like CD producing and book publishing, etc. You should forget your next project, your next tour, your next appearance, and get back to simple worship.

I love Israel Houghton I wish his CD had more worship like the first 3 songs I love that type of worship it brings me into the Throne Room
