Free Music Review: Different, Upbeat, worth the buy!

Although not as good as "Israel and New Breed alive in South Africa" it is still an excellent effort. I have heard it argued that this cd was just a slap up, and that Israel Houghton needs to get back in the prayer closet before he produces more songs, but i would say to these people that they need to read about the production of this cd before they say things like that. The whole worship team spent time in prayer and fasting before diving into this "deeper level" project and it shows. If you cant feel the presence of God when you listen, its not the cd, its you. Because the hard work and prayer shows as they sing and face issues that people deal with daily. It is relevant to believers today, and has a diverse range of songs. Both the praise and worship is great, it reaches many different cultures and ages. there will be tracks on this CD for everyone!Free Music Review: Very good-easy listening and upbeat

Looking for some good praise & worship when you not ready to praise & worship? Huh? That's right this album is very easy to listen to and each song is a progression to take you closer and closer to God via praise and worship. So if you are down in the doldrums or not sure that this song or that song will do it for you, pop in A Deeper Level and you may find yourselves being reminded of who God is, your place (songs: Identity, I Know Who I Am) and then you will focus on God's majesty and worth (songs: I Will Search).
This album does not reproduce any of the prior I&NB offerings but rather complements them-- like a bookcase of fine books this is an additional book to add to the bookcase fitting out your room. Really good!! Highly recommended for all worshipers regardless of race, creed, location.

I love most of Israel and New Breed songs & I'm very surprised he was the guest band in Hillsong confrence of 2007 and it was a live recording too. I'm a little out of date and not following the news, I guess. Hehe.. This album, in particular may not be as deep and as the ones he did in Lakewood Church with Cindy Cruse R. But they are all good to ushers all of us to His Presence as a congegration. Nice song from #1 - 5 and and love the last song too. Regardless, I'd still keep my CD. Maybe the rest will click on me one day. :)Free Music Review: A Deeper Level is solid

Based on the album title, and the artist's previous stellar releases (Another Level & Alive in South Africa) my expectations were especially high. I was satisfied but not filled. That said, top to bottom this is a solid release and I highly recommend purchasing it.
My favorite track is "I Will Search" - "O Majesty, I live to see, Your Face in me, transform, into Your Image"

This cd is basically a praise and worship cd.It's name deeper level encourages us to really dig deep into ourselves and really praise and worship God with all we have.Many people praise and worship but its on a surface level but this cd encourages us to really dig deep and tap in to the true power of God.I reccommend this cd to anyone who wants to really dig deep into Gods love and power.
