This album has excellent songwriting and wonderful exuberance. Israel & New Breed is the new melting pot of praise & worship. Eerily similar to Fred Hammond's rhythm-&-praise style from the early 90s, Israel's voice and timely guitar riffs make a dangerous combination to any worshiper. He and his multi-ethnic band and praise team have a deep anointing with so much power and tenacity. It's like looking at a glimpse of heaven. (Won't we all be together singing praise 2 God? All nations and all creeds, huh?? lol!) All of the songs glorify God in a unique style with pop, alternative, R&B, Latin, Funk, roots, etc. Every song from "Who Is Like the Lord" to "Suddenly" as well as the praise ballads, "There's A Liftin'...," "You've Won My Affection," and the funky "Your Name Is Great" keep me uplifted and lively. These songs are good for any season and once again, God is allowing barriers to be shattered with ecleticism in our ever-growing music ministry. This is an awesome album!!!
