Free Music Notes for The Very Best Of J.J. Cale, (a,k.a. The Definitive Colleciton)Free Music Review: Cale just wrote good stuff, period Hit: 4 Stars
This is must own album for lovers of blues/rock. JJ Cale's music reached other artists including Lynrd Skynrd ("Call Me The Breeze") and Eric Clapton ("Cocaine" and "After Midnight"). It is laid back and smooth as glass blues at it's best. Cale is a master craftsman though he may be too modest to admit it.
Free Music Review: Just Good Music Hit: 4 Stars
This is great Saturday afternoon music. I have played it at various times while doing work around the house, when company was over, etc. Everyone I've played it for loved it - even/especially the people who didn't know who J.J. Cale was. I'm having fun with this CD!
Free Music Review: If you love Clapton... Hit: 4 Stars
I received The Very Best of JJ Cale as a Christmas gift, and listened to it in it's entirety the first day I had it. I never realized how many JJ Cale songs Eric Clapton covered. This CD is fantastic.
