One of the funniest standup albums ever. John doesn't just say
funny things, he says things funny: his delivery (shouting a la
Sam Kinison at times) is perfect. As a chubby man myself (273
pounds) and a fellow Bostonian, I can identify with him. He pokes
fun at skinny people who "browse" the buffet (hey! Grab, and move!)
and his own "cherub like demeanor". You might think this is the type
of album you might only play once or twice. I say, nay, nay. It's
just as funny upon repeated listens!

I have bought this CD as gifts for friends. Since I, being a slightly overweight person, I take no offense to Jon Pinette's humor, actually what he says is quite frankly gut wrenching funny. You laugh antil your sides hurt and tears are in your eyes.One thing I have noticed though, is that this CD DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY FOUL LANGUAGE. The previous CD's did have foul language, however this CD has been editted for that, so it is suitable for a PG-13 crowd.
Buy this one today, I promise you, it will have you laughing.

I first heard John in my car on XM Radio and nearly drove off the road! I searched the web for a CD and found "Show me the Buffet". This CD is proof that if the material is funny there is no need to be vulgar to get a laugh. I really enjoy listening to it over and over with my children. We listened to the CD at a scout campout with a group of 5th graders and it was the big event of the whole weekend. I plan to buy several of these CDs as gifts for the holidays. I'm a fellow fat guy and totally understand all of the health and psychological burdens associated with that. John Pinette has taken this serious burden of being a fat man and turned it into a hilariously funny, positive experience for me and others who have shared it with me. He is man of pure heart with the focus of a cruise missil. God Bless him for helping us get the message out to the skinny people.THANKS JOHN...I'M A REAL FAN! NEED TO SEE MORE OF YOU...

This guy is the most funniest guy in the world. He pin-points the funniness in Chinese, Japanese, Indians, and Italians. He is the best comedian in the world today. He constantly talks about food. If you don't like food, which I highly doubt, you wont like this CD. But, on the other hand, if you like food you'll love this CD. Aw heck, even if you don't like food you'd still like this CD. YOU BUY NOW OR YOU GO. IF YOU NO BUY YOU NO COME HERE ANYMORE!!!
