Free Music Notes for AddictionFree Music Review: Jaared-Addiction Hit: 4 StarsThis is my first venture into the world of Jaareds music and his CD Addiction was well worth the trip. It is a nice mix of upbeart and mellow sounds with a bit more emphasis on the upbeat. 'Piccadilly Circus', 'Addiction', 'Crosswalk' and the bonus track 'Dueces Wild' really show off his ability on the sax. Outside of 'You Like Me Dont You', which I thought was a bit sophmoric, the whole CD is worth a listen and a purchase.
It was produced by Oli Silk and if you havent checked out his solo CD and his work on James Vargas' CD, you should. He may not be as well known in the jazz producing world as the Browns, Culbertsons or Howards, but he is a talented producer and keyboardist. Well done on the part of both Jaared and Oli on this CD.
Free Music Review: Right on the money Hit: 5 StarsIt's a pleasure to see how much Jarred has matured as a saxologist. This is a must own CD for any smooth jazz enthusiast. From the first tune to the last, I knew he had left it all out on the floor. This dude is a great addition to the genre.
Free Music Review: A FINE RETURN Hit: 5 Stars5 YEARS IS A LONG TIME OUT SINCE HANGTIME BUT MORE THAN WORTH THE WAIT.A WONDERFUL RETURN.MY FAVORITE TRACK BEING JAMAICAN WINDS.
