The best thing about Jack Johnson's 'In Between Dreams' is that it can fit a multitude of purposes. It's great for listening to. It's great as background music while you are reading, having dinner, doing homework, etc. It's great for in the car -- in fact, I made an extra copy so I would have one for the car and one in the house. The songs are very mellow and relaxing like a Norah Jones album, and they have some good lyrics to boot. Very romantic, too. "Banana Pancakes" and "Better Together" are just the sweetest songs; they put a smile on my face every time I hear them. If I'm being totally honest I have to say that "If I Could" walks a little too close to the line of being overly treacly, and of all the songs "Belle" feels a little out of place -- but I still enjoy both of them, and they don't take anything away from the otherwise stellar album. Johnson has a smooth voice that calms you, and his guitar work is the perfect accompaniment. All in all, 'In Between Dreams' is a great listening experience, and I would highly recommend it.Free Music Review: Fantabulous

Jack Johnson is one of the best song writers out in the world of music where catchy phrases and lack of musical variety rule the world of music its good to hear something that tells a story and leaves something with the listener. With his great guitar Jack Johnson has no paricular genre but great music. Although his songs start to get bland after listening to them a while Jack Johnson changes up things with songs like Belle,Good People,and Sitting,Waiting,Wishing. This is probably one of the best albums I've bought in years, and with its great melodies and great lyrics it'll have you reciting the words at your desk at work in no time. This CD is the best I've heard from Jack Johnson. Even though Jack's talent on guitar and vocals is clear in everything he does, this CD offers a variety of tunes unmatched by anything else he has done. Definitely his #1 offering
