Free Music Notes for On and OnFree Music Review: Got Jack? Hit: 5 StarsThis is the first Jack Johnson cd that i bought and i was blown away.
The guy is insanely talented. If you have'nt heard any Jack Johnson then
you're missing a real treat. It's hard not to like the man. If you buy
only one cd this year it should be this one. If you love laid back GOOD
music then you'll love this guy. I firmly believe that music makes everything better. If i were getting stabbed in the face, even that
would be a better experience if i had some Jack Johnson playing in the
backgroung......I own most everything that he's put out to date....
Free Music Review: JJ does it again Hit: 5 StarsJack Johnson has been one of my favorite musicians since 2002 when he opened for Dispatch in Central Park in NYC. He continues to release original tracks with a smooth sound and great lyrics!
Free Music Review: Excellent Sophomore Effort Hit: 5 StarsThis was the third Jack Johnson purchase of mine, and it is my personal favorite. A common criticism of his work is that all of his tracks sound the same, but out of his first three albums, this one has the most variety. His guitar style is both soft and catchy at the same time. "Times Like These", "The Horizon Has Been Defeated", "Taylor", "Wasting Time", "Holes to Heaven", and "Tomorrow Morning" are classic tracks.
Overall, the album is both upbeat and mellow. If slower music puts you to sleep, this isn't for you. I could pull up the clich? that this music as great to "chill" to, but this goes without saying if you've ever heard Jack before. If you haven't, however, this is a great place to start.
Free Music Review: classic Jack J Hit: 4 StarsIf you love Jack Johnson, you will love these tracks. Soothing, fun, simple, and mesmerising to listen to.
Free Music Review: On and On Hit: 5 StarsWonderfully relaxing music; makes you want to turn off the TV and turn on the music. People walk in and say "who is that" and they're off to buy the CD.
