Free Music Notes for Sing-A-Longs & Lullabies for the Film Curious George (Jack Johnson)Free Music Review: Not just for kids Hit: 5 StarsI love this CD! I bought it while pregnant and I swear my baby started kicking when I played it in the car. Now that she is 6 months old, she likes it and so do I. I played it during our playgroup and the moms were shocked that it's a "kids' CD" because it's quality stuff.
Free Music Review: Joyful Music Hit: 5 StarsAfter purchasing my copy of this CD, I bought two more as gifts. I first bought it after being told about it by a 20-year-old bagger in a grocery store; she said it was "awesome" and was pushing it on anyone who would listen. Well, she was right - my kids do enjoy it, but I find most of the songs quite appropriate for adult easy listening, as well. Only maybe three of the songs are actually directed towards children, and even those tunes are catchy if you don't listen too closely to the words. :) This is an oft-played CD in our home and car. Love it!!
Free Music Review: Sing-A-Longs & Lullabies for the Film Curious George (Jack Johnson Hit: 4 StarsFun CD for the kids to listent to from a surprisingly entertaining movie. Not too immature for adults to enjoy as well.
Free Music Review: Jack Johnson is Adorable Hit: 4 StarsI enjoyed the soundtrack Curious George. These songs definitely make the movie even more watchable. The songs are very feel good, light and fun without being too wishy washy or heavy. Most of the songs are relaxing, and I have several favorites including "Talk of the Town" and "Upside Down". The children, of course, love this album. My 7 yr. old especially loves "Broken", "Wrong Turn" and "The 3 R's" (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). I love that Jack includes a song about conservation and the "3 R's" is a fun way to learn that.
If you want a nice album with a light beat that you and your children can enjoy together, then this is the one.
Free Music Review: Sing a Longs & Lullabies Hit: 3 StarsThis was a very happy cd. The music was on a very happy note the whole thing. I thought this was a good record, but not his best. I would give it good recomendations to people that have kida. Jack gives some good words for people and especially children to listen to.
