I wasn't familiar with Jack Johnson until I saw a "Move to the Music" video for Upside Down on Noggin... It was an instant favorite! I went straight to my computer and googled "Jack Johnson" and saw the full soundtrack. I realized that I knew the 3 R's track from the "Mary Had a Little Amp" compilations but I like the version on this album much better... the children singing back up is a nice touch. Some of my favorite tracks from the Sing-a-long cd are: Upside Down (it just makes you feel good), Broken (which I'll sing as a love song to my daughter), Jungle Gym (makes you wanna dance) and the White Stripes cover of We are gonna be friends... a softer version than another Jack's (White) version. This cd is in my ipod and my daughter and I listened to it together this morning and I've continued to listen to it at work to enjoy myself... it's that good and it's not just for the kiddos.Free Music Review: Great CD for little ones and big ones alike

This is my 3rd Jack Johnson CD, so I knew it would be good. This has some fun songs that are great for kids, though even those have a lot of clever and humorous lyrics that the adults will appreciate. As with any other Jack Johnson CD, I have a difficult time telling you which tracks are my favorite because it sometimes changes with each listen. Each track is what I've come to expect from this artist, and just like the other CDs, if you aren't crazy about a track the first time through, don't worry. It may end up becoming one of your favorites. Some songs jump out at you immediately and you love them instantly. Some of his songs just need a little more time to grow on you, but you'll probably end up loving them all in the end. Typical outstanding Jack Johnson work, and the guest artists actually add a lot of variety to the CD as well. GREAT CD!Free Music Review: For Adults and Kids, this album is really good.

I've listened to this album with my nephew and on my own, its strange i relate to it as jack johnson and he relates to it as a cd of songs from his favourite movie.
quite a special album, def an age range in the audience that listens to it but its still good.
I will always listen to this i think. My favourite songs in order are;

"People watching"
"Upside Down"
"Lullaby"
"Supposed to be"
I think its great jack johnson did this project. Not only did it, but put the tenacity and willingness to make a great album for a kids movie just raises his artist profile. This album also introduced me to two other artists ive grown to really like (Matt Costa and G.Love.
Not seen the movie yet, but if I have kids one day, they will notice a few tunes im sure ;]
Free Music Review: Great, Great Family-Oriented CD

'twas about time. A talented group of musicians putting together a great CD listenable by all the family. All songs have the expected mellow, feel-good tone; quintessential of Jack Johnson. Further, unlike most kids' songs and music, the lyrics have meaning behind them. From sharing to good manners, from friendship to conservation, each and every one of the songs have some good quality we all want our children to have. What makes this CD even better is that you can just play it over and over again (like most kids like to do) during a long road trip and still be very amenable and you won't hate it by the time you reach your destination.
A definite must for families with or without small children. Highly recommend. This CD is a one way ticket to a Dora-free land, so to speak :)

My brother introduced me to the music of Jack Johnson two years ago, and I have been hooked ever since... Don't read into the 'Curious George' kid's title. This is a great CD for adults too. It hasn't left my CD player since I bought it. I dare say that this may be his best CD to date !!!
I have always loved his cover of the White Stripes song 'We're Gonna Be Friends'. It truly is a gem... There isn't a bad song on this CD, and I promise you this; If you had a long stressful day at work, or just need to 'chill out', this is your perfect medicine. He has a 'Jimmy Buffet-way' of feel-good music...
