Free Music Review: Overall a great CD for adults and kids

My toddler has lots of CDs, but most of them drive me up the wall, and quite frankly, she could care less about most of them. However, this CD has the ability to stop a tantrum with the speed similar to that of a binky! I am amazed at how much she loves the upbeat yet mellow music, especially Track 1 (her favorite). Inevitably, she says, "More" each time and dances in her car seat. Most importantly, I can not only tolerate it, but have found myself popping it in when I need to take a deep breath in rush-hour traffic. This is the only CD of hers that stays in the car. Anytime Jack covers Jack i.e. "We're Going to Be Friends," it is great by me. I loved it on the road whenever Jack Johnson covered the White Stripes and the studio version is just as sweet.
"Three R's" will be familure to both Jack fans and fans of School House Rock..
My very young daughter and my wife both love this album. What a great concept... to make a homogeneous soundtrack in this style for a children's movie was borderline genius.
Must have for parents and Jack Johnson fans... if you are both, like me, that is just an added bonus.

Jack Johnson has struck again with this wonderful collection of songs that are inspired from the movie Curious George. Jack Johnson is ion my opinion one of the top 5 artists of all time and this album does not disappoint. It is classic Johnson. Slow groovy melodies that are nice and pleasing as the soft winds of Johnson's native Hawaii with ear pleasing guitar work and Johnson's incredible smooth crooning voice. I would go into a review of each song but it would be a waste of time because they all are great. A must have for the Jack Johnson fan and a must have for any fan of music.Free Music Review: Really recommend, especially for the family with little kids

I'm just starting to listen Jack Johnson recently and just love his mellow and take-it-easy style. I listen to any kind of music, from rock, jazz, classical, country, pop, you name it, but his style is kind a special and just love it. I can listen his album whole day over and over with the repeat and feels really good. I don't know how to explain and the best way to get this feeling is to listen to it.
And this album, Curious George, is great especially if you have little kids. We can sing along with them and you can also enjoy it.
Highly recommend.

After purchasing my copy of this CD, I bought two more as gifts. I first bought it after being told about it by a 20-year-old bagger in a grocery store; she said it was "awesome" and was pushing it on anyone who would listen. Well, she was right - my kids do enjoy it, but I find most of the songs quite appropriate for adult easy listening, as well. Only maybe three of the songs are actually directed towards children, and even those tunes are catchy if you don't listen too closely to the words. :) This is an oft-played CD in our home and car. Love it!!
