I bought this for my children, however, even as an adult, you can't help but listen to the CD after the kids get out of the car for school. And I find myself humming the songs all day long. Not to mention, that as the soundtrack to the movie my kids have seen more than a billion times... they LOVE it. Jack Johnson made this movie what it is. Had the soundtrack been different the movie would not have been the same. And you just have to have the soundtrack. My son really enjoyed the Curious George movie and music. When we walked into the movie theatre, he actually began crying cause the previews were so loud and obnoxious! He got a little scared! However, once the movie started and "Upside Down" came on, he settled right onto my lap, his legs started swinging to the music, and he watched the whole movie just fine! Everytime a song came on, his legs were moving to the beat! GREAT songs that are very sweet. I love them as much as my son does!Free Music Review: Buy it for your kid; keep it for yourself

This disc is that rare find: A children's CD that parents not only can stand but enjoy. My two-year-old loves to dance around to the music. She's too young to understand most of the lyrics but old enough to ask for the "monkey CD" by name. I'm only too happy to oblige her since many of the albums she enjoys this much feature worn-out nursery rhymes or endless versions of "Old MacDonald." We haven't seen the movie, so I can vouch for the fact that the soundtrack stands on its own.Free Music Review: Not your average children's movie soundtrack

I've always loved Jack Johnson, but I have to admit, I was a little cautious about buying his Curious George soundtrack. How could a bunch of songs aimed at young children possibly appeal to adults? Well, somehow, it does. The songs' simple (but not irritatingly childish) messages are accompanied with the same cool Johnson beats we all know & love. I totally bust out this CD while driving or hanging out with friends, and I always forget I'm listening to a "children's" CD.Free Music Review: Good for big and little kids

There is something about Jack Johnson that kids love. My young son finds his tunes to be very soothing, especially calming in the car. Which in turn is calming for me too! Although some of the song lyrics are obviously written for younger minds, others I could see on a 'regular' Jack Johnson CD. There are some songs about relationships that are down right moving. They make me smile and bring a tear at the same time. Overall, an enjoyable CD that we listen to a lot.
