I didn't hear of Jack Johnson until I heard On and On at a bar one night and I was floored. After I bought On and On I went out and bought Thicker Than Water and was equally impressed. At first I was thrown off by all these different artists, most of which I never heard of, but after hearing it I was sold. I recently made a trip from Tampa to Boston and back and I listened to this record and On and On for a lot of the trip. Highly recommended...perfect for driving music during a trip to the shore...no skips on this album.. play it straight through... makes me consider purchasing the September Sessions... I wish Jack would release his live album on CD.. only options are vinyl or $56 for Japanese import.If you have the opportunity to see Jack live... jump at the chance.. saw him last summer at the Mann in Philly... great to hear "The News" off of Brushfire, live...

I bought this CD about 3 months ago in a little music shop in the city, because of the surfing influence. Today in the car I put it in the CD player for the third time in a row. I really enjoy the different types of music, it dosn't get old like most "various artists" CD's I own. I have especially taken a liking to Jack Johnson, lovely guitar.Free Music Review: great music

This is an unbelievably, fabulous cd. I can't stop listening to it. So many people came together and brought so many different sounds and waves.... Just perfection......It is a delight to the ear and a splash to the the soul. My compliments to the Artists.......May the surf bring you safely home....
