Free Music Notes for Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2Free Music Review: More music, less talk Hit: 2 StarsThe songs, when he gets around to them, are something fine; but who wants to have to listen to the same jokes and lame intros over and over to get to them.
Free Music Review: Acoustic Brilliance Hit: 5 StarsThis Album was pure magic from the first track to the last..Classic jackson Browne at his best. The intro tracks were a bonus.I have played this Album every day since receiving it and still can't hear it often enough.
Free Music Review: Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2 Hit: 5 StarsFabulous - like the old Jackson was back - just him, his gutiar, and his piano. He seemed more in touch with the music than he's seemed over the last decade. I love this CD and also Vol. 1. I highly recommend it to all Jackson lovers. His voice was strong and pure. I'm glade I purchased Vol. 1 and 2 and listen almost every day. Also, he has come commentary in between songs that's quite amusing.
Free Music Review: JB Live and Talking Too Much! Hit: 3 StarsHey the man's a sperior poet...esp. when sharing the pain and joy of human relationships. But, his stuff speaks for itself, and is at its best when he does less talking than on this album...leaving us more space to relate and to wonder.
Free Music Review: A masterful collection of live renditions Hit: 5 StarsThe reviews of this album on Amazon.com seem to fall into two camps. 1. This album is as good as "Solo Acoustic Vol. 1." 2. The first album was better. Hey, it's important to remember that this is an exceptional artist who doesn't repeat himself. Jackson Browne made one of best live albums of all time in "Running On Empty," and then he didn't release another live album for 28 years! We should have had a national holiday this year when he released "Solo Acoustic Vol. 2"!
