While the songs included represent some of Browne's lesser known works, they are executed with his usual perfection, and make any Jackson fan very very happy! The conversation with the audience included in between the tracks is, as with Vol. 1, witty and engaging, and makes us love him all the more. And for me personally, the release is timed perfectly as I am going through chemotherapy and listening to this on my Ipod is so soothing. I have been a Jackson Browne fan since the early 70's. It is a delight to listen to his acoustic renditions of his favorites, and if you can ignore the live audience reactions (NEVER negative, always boisterous), and get into that groove, you want to cheer right along with them. Not only are the acoustic arrangements different in many ways from the studio cuts, but they are somehow more intimate and genuinely relaxing. This is a star turn from a true star! The reviews of this album on Amazon.com seem to fall into two camps. 1. This album is as good as "Solo Acoustic Vol. 1." 2. The first album was better. Hey, it's important to remember that this is an exceptional artist who doesn't repeat himself. Jackson Browne made one of best live albums of all time in "Running On Empty," and then he didn't release another live album for 28 years! We should have had a national holiday this year when he released "Solo Acoustic Vol. 2"!Free Music Review: Jackson at his best again

I purchased both volume one and volume two at the same time and wasn't displeased with either one. If you bought this album and didn't buy volume 1 might I suggest you listen to the free music clips on Amazon, they will probably convince you to buy volume one. Then if you wish you can read my review on volume two that I submitted.
