Free Music Notes for Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2Free Music Review: Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2 Hit: 5 Stars
Fabulous - like the old Jackson was back - just him, his gutiar, and his piano. He seemed more in touch with the music than he's seemed over the last decade. I love this CD and also Vol. 1. I highly recommend it to all Jackson lovers. His voice was strong and pure. I'm glade I purchased Vol. 1 and 2 and listen almost every day. Also, he has come commentary in between songs that's quite amusing.
Free Music Review: Jackson Browne in concert--the next best thing to being there! Hit: 5 Stars
Jackson Browne's "Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2" showcases the artistry of his music--it's just Mr. Browne and his lovingly crafted songs. I saw him in concert this spring, and this CD is a wonderful reminder of that really excellent concert. Mr. Browne stood on the stage alone and proved that his songs pass the test of time, remaining fresh years (or decades) later. Highly recommended for Browne fans!
Free Music Review: awesome! Hit: 5 Stars
fantastic as ever. i LOVED the renditions of Alive in the World, The Night Inside Me, Something Fine, and, surprisingly, Enough of the Night. All the others are amazing as well! Jackson's voice cracks quite a bit on "Sky Blue and Black," but I don't think it diminishes from the performance at all. It's simply him getting old. He still ROCKS though! a must buy for sure.
Free Music Review: Bring on another volume..... Hit: 5 Stars
I've been a fan of JB since 1972, have just about all of his releases....the Solo Acoustics Vol.1 and 2 have a close, intimate feel and sound to them that are fantastic. I've had the pleasure of seeing he and David Lindley together in an acoustic performance many years ago. These recordings remind me of that night. Can't wait for future Vols.
Free Music Review: Jackson Browne ' Solo Acoustic ' Volume 2 Hit: 5 Stars
Jackson Browne is a brilliant singer/songwriter.
Halt the Alt and listen to what a real voice sounds like.
For all you Alt singer/songwriters.....jut a bit of advice.
Try to find your own voice instead of everyone immitating eachother like monkees. How pathetic.
