Free Music Notes for Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2Free Music Review: Excellent but too much conversing between songs Hit: 4 Stars
I have always been a Jackson Browne fan since his first recording. The only downside is a little too much interaction with the audience and not enough moving into the next song. It seems that almost every song has a contrived intro but if a person can get past that, he is an accomplished singer/songwriter, guitarist and pianist.
I will not hold this against him after penning all those great songs over the years.
Free Music Review: A slight letdown Hit: 4 Stars
The second in this series, the set list is to me not as good as the first, but the performances are excellent. Crystal clear sound and some hearfelt readings of a few hits and some obscurites. If you liked #1, you'll like #2. And Jackson's stories show wit and humility - check out the guitar repair shop tale.
Free Music Review: Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic- A Must Have!!!!!!!!! Hit: 4 Stars
This is such a must have for all JB fans. His personality comes through with anecdotes about songs...when and who they were written for.
Just a great collection of his overall work.
Free Music Review: Another Great Compilation. Hit: 4 Stars
Great artist and musician. Only thing lacking is no "Before the Deluge", a song so appropriate for our time in it's prophetic power.
Free Music Review: Not as good as Solo Accoustic Vol 1 Hit: 3 Stars
If you have Solo Accoustic Vol 1 than you will enjoy Vol. 2. However if you dont own Vol. 1, I would suggest you buy it as it has more of the well known hits. Jackson Browne has great songs but this album is more of lesser known material. If you like accoustic music in general than you will really like this album.
