I have had the London cast recording for some time now.I stumbled upon it when visiting NYC.I have been a Fame-atic for along time but wasn't sure if I would like this recording.None of the songs are from the movie or television series except for the title song.It's a new score--a new freshness--a new take on a familiar story.I recomend this recording to anyone who has ever dreamed the dream of one day seeing there name in lights.This Fame will live forever.Free Music Review: Fame: The Musical

Fame: The Musical is great! The acting and singing is wonderful! It really sends good message to us high schoolers. It tells us to work towards acheiving our dreams. We may not like all of the work but, in the end we'll possibly have a career that we love! It also sends out the message that just because some people have learning disabilities doesn't mean they should give up on themselves! They just need to work alittle harder to get where they want to go.Free Music Review: A must have for musical lovers!

So, the CD is totally different from the video. That's okay. I think the CD captures excellence the life of teenagers plus a positive message of going out in the world and trying to change it for the better. The best part about the recording is that they did not enhance the voices. I saw the touring cast and they actually sound that great! There is nothing that tops FAME!!! I love it!! I've seen the London cast three times and it just keps getting better! I bought the CD 6 months ago and I haven't stopped listerning to it since, the songs are great to sing to and "LA" and "Bring on tommorow" make me want to cry! It's such powerful music you'll nver want to stop listerning to it!Free Music Review: It ranks right up there with RENT!!!

I just saw FAME a few weeks ago and thought that it was fantastic! What amazed me was that the whole cast, up in Minniapolis, was great and not just a few characters. I was truely taken by the perfomances of Nick, Tyrone, and Miss Bell. If I could choose any character to play, after Mark Cohen in RENT, it would be Nick Piazza! He is me on stage!!!
