When I first bought this soundtrack, I was skeptical. I thought that it could never measure up to "The Mask of Zorro." I was wrong. "The Legend of Zorro" takes the themes and cues from the first movie and recreates the magic of swordplay/adventure. This album is much easier to listen to and to enjoy than the other soundtrack. If you aren't a James Horner fan and want new themes in this new album, stay away! But(!!!), if you want some of the best film, adventure, action, swashbuckling (I could go on and on) music ever made, I strongly suggest that you buy it.
For those of you who will, prepare to be swept away by this truly amazing musical experience!!!
