This soundtrack is the best one I've bought in a long time. I don't normally buy instrumentals, but after I saw the film, I had to have this CD. I love the way the music instantly puts me in a fantastic mood. I think anyone can love and appreciate the amazing score by James Newton Howard.Listening to this really puts me in a creative mood as well because there is so much to VISUALIZE just by listening. Only a truly talented composer can accomplish this with his listeners. Highlights of the CD include "Flying" and "I Do Believe in Fairies," and my personal favorite "Fairy Dance." However, ALL the songs are amazing.
So, I highly recommend this soundtrack to anyone who appreciates good music!

This soundtrack is absolutely amazing! It is definitely one of my favorites! I had first seen the movie, mainly to check out the music. When the movie began with the "Main Titles' I immediately told myself to get the soundtrack.Not one moment of the whole CD was a waste. It was simply magical,adventurous, exciting,chilling,....
James Newton Howard has definitely displayed his talent in this one. I have listened to the CD every day for two weeks and I'm still not tired of it.
My favorite ones were "Main Titles', 'Flying' and'Fairy Dance'. My only regret is that it wasn't very long and the songs were not in order.
It is a must-have soundtrack!

Okay, so the movie rocks, right? How could the CD be even better? I am mystified as well, but James Newton Howard somehow accomplished this. This CD is my new favorite, ranking as high as the scores of The Return of the King and Edward Scissorhands. It has the most amazing sounds you've ever heard, and the different songs inspire emotions of all kinds. Another rare thing that you don't find in other scores is the songs can stand on their own: they each have a unique arc. Honestly, this CD has been in my CD player for seven days straight. I recommend it to anyone who likes good music. Seriously, go and get it now before the store sells out, because it will.Free Music Review: Gorgeous

Being a fan of everything Peter Pan since I was a tiny girl, there was nothing I wanted more as a kid than the ability to soar through the stars like Peter himself. When I saw this movie in theaters I wept like a baby-- I was flying!!!! I could almost feel myself lift up off my seat and go sailing on the wind. It was also partially due to this incredible music, written by James Newton Howard (who also penned the scores to all of M. Night Shyamalan's films), and even now as I sit listening to it I get the chills. My eyes well up and my heart sings every time I hear "Flying" and "I Do Believe In Fairies." It's difficult for me to buy cd's because I'm *very* choosy... I rarely like half of the songs on most of the soundtracks I buy, even my favorites. Not so with Peter Pan. I love almost all of the songs, my favorites being the Main Title, Flying, A Note From the Teacher, Come Meet Father, Peter Returns, and *especially* Fairy Dance- just beautiful.This is definitely a must-have soundtrack. It captures the feel of the story perfectly. Songs like Flying and Come Meet Father set the playful mood, while the Main Title and Fairy Dance give it a beautiful, dreamlike quality.
I promise you won't regret buying it! Believe me, it's worth every last cent.
