Free Music Notes for One Man Band [CD + DVD]

Free Music Review: It's been quite an interesting ride for 37 years......
Hit: 5 Stars

One Man Band really marks the time, here. The only things missing is Carole King, and Kootch. Oh, and Russ Kunkel. JT's backup bands have always been fine players, but there was nothing like the 1970 tour lineup. He is, what he is. There has been some heartache along the way, but JT has stayed true to himself, and the fans.

Free Music Review: Up close and personal
Hit: 5 Stars

One Man Band is vintage James Taylor, up close and personal with just the right amount of support from a pianist. His voice is just as clear and emotional as ever. The quality of the recording is outstanding. It made me feel as if James was performing in a small club, where I was sitting at the table in the front.

Free Music Review: Great Music from a Great Entertainer
Hit: 5 Stars

If you are child of the 60's and 70's, this is for you. James Taylor is one of the greatest American "elder statesmen" musicians that we could have for that era. His voice is as clear and distinctive as ever, and the DVD presentation is very entertaining. There is a lot of interesting content besides the music.

Free Music Review: Put this on if you want to smile and relax!
Hit: 5 Stars

I have always been a James Taylor fan, but this combination video and audio is wonderful. I bought five of these as stocking gifts. The concert is great. Of course the music is wonderful, but the comedy of James Taylor was so much fun. Watch on a big screen with stereo and you'll feel like your there. Awesome!!!

Free Music Review: The Real James Taylor greatest hits
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow. I have the other albums. But I love how he cut back to his roots on this one one. And the DVD is a bonus. (Most concert DVDs are poorly produced. This is an exception.)

The arrangements make the songs interesting and new and bring a freshness to this material. I recommend this album.
