How does one describe pure love for a person you've never even met? I've been listening to James Taylor since his first Apple record was released in 1967, and never stopped listening. His gentle, true voice, his sensitive and brilliant lyrics, his adorable sense of humor... I play his Christmas album ALL YEAR LONG, that is how soothing and beautiful it is to these ears.
James, God bless and keep you -- you've made SO many people happy, and secretly fall in love with you, too.
Thank you for the incredibly beautiful music all these years...

Very nice show with beautiful singing from James Taylor. The musical arrangements are priceless and worth every note. You may have to endure a few nutty liberal/political statements from Mr. Taylor, but they are only a few seconds long so don't despair. James Taylor has aged, but it is truly amazing how his voice has only gotten better, as well as his beautiful guitar work. If you like James Taylor you will love this DVD/CD. If you love pretty songs like those of Dan Fogelberg, John Denver, Jim Croce, etc., you will also enjoy this offering. I give this show my highest rating and most enthusiastic recommendation.Free Music Review: A Wonderful Evening

I picked up the "One Man Band" CD/DVD today. Having seen this show in Atlanta last year, I was looking forward to reliving the experience, and I was not disappointed. The DVD presents a wonderfully warm and intimate evening, with great stories and even greater songs. It's very much like having an old friend over, trading stories and memories.
And wait 'til you check out the first entry in the Outtakes on the DVD. It's priceless, and I was laughing out loud!
Oh, and James...I forgive you for the "Yankees suck" comment!

What more wonderful attributes can be said that has not already been said about James Taylor. Having grown up listening to him as many other baby boomers have, you never get tired of hearing his terrific vocals, wonderful guitar playing and poignant stories. This live CD makes it seem that you are listening to his songs for the very first time! Also, a VERY pleasant surprise was listening to Larry Goldings on backup piano and keyboards. Just awesome! I can't wait to see the DVD that accompanies this CD. To sum up my review of "One Man Band" CD/DVD live performance of James Taylor....Simply beautiful!Free Music Review: James, this is your best yet..... Thanks to Kim & da boys too.

Thanks for the visit last night, James. Felt like you were right here. I LOVE the new CD. You see how fast I got it. Love that "mellow side", even more than you had been. Is that possible? YUP ! I am sure that Kim has something to do with where you are at right now. So do those beautiful boys, the Berkshires, Lenox and you got it right James and THANKS for bringing it home to all of us. I have the CD on now and I'm singing along. By the way, The Colonial Theater is beautiful. Would love to see a concert there once. Thanks for your work........ Happy Holidays to you and yours.......
