I don't have any other James Taylor albums, so I can't really say if this is a good list of songs, or not. What I can say is, I love every single song off this CD. He's my favourite guitarist, and has a really cool, laid back voice. His acoustic chords, and guitar parts are so good. I'd really like to hear his version of Daytripper on this album. If anyone is looking for a good acoustic guitar player, with a good voice too check out James Taylor. Even Jack Johnson, or Nirvana's MTV Unplugged album.Free Music Review: Dump the vinyl and tape

It's really impossible to write a review of James Taylor's music, since you've already heard most of these songs, if not all of them. And while there are some milestones missing on this CD, it's a great collection of songs from one of greatest singer/songwriters to grace this planet.If you're like me, and have much of Taylor's music on vinyl and tape, this CD gives you the opportunity to enjoy some old favorites without the fuss. Sounds a heck of a lot better, too.

Does it real matter what is on this CD? It's "JT" man! I first hear James Taylor in the early 70's when my older brother was playing one of his songs on the guitar. I ask him to play the record and I haven't stopped listening since. Some years later I was lucky enough to see him in concert, at URI, and I was just blown away! Who cares if "this" or "that" song is on the CD it's "JT" just sit back....relax....and enjoy.Free Music Review: therapy on a disc

James Taylor what can you say, never lets you down his lovley voice just washes away all the angst of the day. This cd is a great choice selection of his work if it was your first taster, it has some great tracks of his, "you can close your eyes" being a personal favourite. Think Sunday morning cold outside drinking lovley coffee, reading the papers, James taylor in the background, perfect sunday morning. (and then go to the pub)Free Music Review: Best of James Taylor

This album is a must have for everyone's CD collection. I bought the CD for my mom's birthday and quickly realized that I wanted a copy for myself! It's a great collection of his hits and songs that any James Taylor fan knows and loves. Overall, it focuses in one album all of the songs that this musical genius has put out over the years. I really recommend it and guarantee you will be satisfied with the contents of this CD!
