Free Music Notes for IntuitionFree Music Review: Great Growth and Transition Hit: 5 Stars
First and foremost, I'm a little upset about the negative reviews of this album. I am a die hard fan of Jamie Foxx and his work. I loved the vibe and creativity of his first album 'Unpredictable' but I must admit that it took a minute to grow on me BUT this album was a different story; as soon as it hit my cd player I was IN-LOVE. The best part of this cd is that it shows growth of him as an artist; he evolved his style by adding different producers as well as featuring different artist to give each song its own personality, (no song is the same on this cd). He also uses his voice in so many different ways to not only just sing to you but bring out his personality and entertain you. He continues his soulful lovemaking vibe and adds a dash of hip-hop to keep your head moving. He also tells you a story on each song which I can say has lost its luster in music over the years. I can honestly say I love this cd and recommend it to all my friends. Jamie Foxx deserves FIVE STARS for this album.
Free Music Review: I Think this CD is better than Unpredictable Hit: 5 Stars
I love Jamie's new CD it is totally different than Unpredictable. The reason why I ended up buying it was because of "Number One"!! I heard it and immediately started moving to it. I love romantic music too, but I am so glad Jamie proved he is versatile. He just showed you can't put him in a box! I got tired of Unpredictable really quick, but I think I will be jamming to Intuition for a long time. Most of the new CD that have come out recently are sampling old school music, but Intuition is total original. I'm love old school, but I'm also open to all genres of music and this CD just makes you feel good. I have to give Jamie props for making me want to jam even though America is in an economic crisis. Wine and candles are good but sometimes it feels good to hear something that just makes you wanna get up off your behind and move!!! I'm snapping my fingers to this CD!! Way to go Jamie!!
Free Music Review: GO Jamie!!! Great Follow-up! Hit: 5 Stars
I've been reading the other reviews and I have to say I REALLY like this album. It's for the grown and sexy crowd. I got exactly what I expected and it doesn't stray too far from "Unpredictable". This is not a CD to play with the kids in the car (neither was "Unpredictable" with it's sexual content/language and kids don't need to hear everything you buy). If you're looking for the Luther Vandross type of vibe, I suggest Avant or Anthony Hamilton (which are good too). The faster tracks were made for the club and I think he did a good job of pulling it off Jamie-style. There is a good balance of fast/slow material. Jamie is mega-talented, wants to have fun (obviously), so let the man do his thing.
Favorite tracks are "She Got Her Own", "Slow", "I Don't Need It", "Blame It" and "Why".
Free Music Review: This one topped the cake for me! Hit: 5 Stars
I must give credit where it's due and I can honestly say, I am really impressed with this CD! It is awesome and every song was planned so perfect to create an appeaser for all age groups. I would not place this CD in the same category with Unpredictable but say it's a great comeback and follow up to the last CD. I have all due respect for Jamie and I can say hands down the CD is banging! Do I have a favorite song? Yes, matter fact here are my top 7s:
1. She's Got Her Own
2. Rainmen
3. Just Like Me
4. Slow
5. Number Ones
6. Overdose
7. Weekend Lover
I love all the songs equally but these songs stand out among the rest. Congratulations Jamie and this is a good way to end the 2008 music year.
Free Music Review: I loved It!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I love this cd from begining to end. I don't know what the problem is for the people that gave it a bad review. When you place a person in a image of what you want them to be. You'll end up disappointed all the time. Just because he's not making the kind of music that u want him to make doesn't make it bad. Now with that said......I love the cd!!! I like the way it starts off with the club music then smoothes down towards the end. I also how he tries something different with "I don't need it". Showing that he can be versatile with his voice. When I first brought his cd. I couldn't stop playing it. It has a nice groove to it. I believe as an artist he is just exploring all facets of himself artisticly (if that's a word).
