Free Music Review: What's up with the poor ratings?
Hit: 4 Stars

Okay . . . I get some of the critcisms listed about this album. However, besides "Unpredictable," the last album sucked. I'm 34 and frankly I have heard enough songs about women, the club and money. Jamie, like R. Kelly and many others are too old to be focusing solely on that genre.

I think, with this album, Jamie surpasses that mentality. In terms of the fast songs with all of the "today's" hottest dudes can be fast forwarded, except, of course, with "Just Like Me." Maybe because of the video, I don't know, but I don't take this song too seriously. Contrary of what others have said, it's not seriously about cheating: it's one of those "a woman needs love, too," songs.

The slow songs make up for the trendy up tempo songs anyway. With "She's Got Her Own," pretty much leading the way, the songs inclusive of and following this track are entry into Grown Folks music. The slow songs aren't all about "I got u in the back of the club with ur skirt rising . . ." Jamie is 41 and returned to the songs that made his first album "Peep This," better than his second.

He may have more fans now because of his movie credits and his second album, however he tries to reach the older crowd with this one.

Oh and the "Intuition" interlude is bomb and could have been introduction to a real real slow song like "Freakin Me," which couldnt be better with Marsha Ambrosius from Floetry. Come on now, that is some serious at home withcha man (or lady) music.

The people who don't like this album, don't listen. It's real R&B and not the hip hop that he tried to showcase in his last album.

Free Music Review: Jamie's Fox Intuition
Hit: 4 Stars

I liked this CD.. It was different from the last CD which was more on the slow side which was fine. But people evolve and move forward and Jamie did with this CD. My personal favorites are
"Don't Need It" - although a lot of people didn't like this, but if you listen to Jamie's harmonizing with himself and the beat, you might find yourself bopping your head to it. I loved it.
"Slow" is hot and sexy and of course the remake of Neo's "She Got Her Own".. no words need be said about that. I loved all the calabo's he did with the other artists. All and all, Jamie's new CD is pretty cool. I like it. Music evovles and changes everyday. Artist can't stay in the same box and expect people to buy the same old run of the mill beats and songs. Then everyone would complain that he's singing the same thing over and over.. Stop it...Let an Artist be just what he is .. an Artist... Move forward. Jamie, I give you 4.5 stars. I liked the CD.

Free Music Review: Nice mix of slow and fast by JAMIE FOXX!
Hit: 4 Stars

I THINK THIS A SOLID SOPHMORE RELEASE FOR JAMIE. HE HAS A FEW CLUB BANGERS AS WELL AS MELLOW BETWEEN THE SHEETS GROOVES. aND TO TOP IT ALL OFF HE ENDS WITH THE INSPIRATIONAL LOVE BRINGHS CHANGE- WHICH WAS FEATURED IN THE HBO MOVIE LIFE SUPPORT WITH QUEEN LATIFAH HAT I SEARCHED FOR FOR WEEKS AFTER THAT MOVIE WAS RELEASE IN LATE 07. I WAS RELIEVED TO SEE IT APPEAR ON THIS ALBUM. JAMIE'S VOICE IS SMOOTH AS SILK AND CAN CONVINCE ONE OF MANY THINGS THAT THEY OTHERWISE WOULD NOT DO :).

MY FAVORITES ON THE ALBUM ARE:

SHE GOT HER OWN
WEEKEND LOVER
INTUITION INTERLUDE
LOVE BRINGS CHANGE
BLAME IT
DIGITAL GIRL
SLOW
JUST LIKE ME
FREAKIN ME

Free Music Review: Don't Sleep On This!!
Hit: 4 Stars

Don't pay attention to any other reviews that say this CD is not bangin!! These days it's a waste to buy CD's because your paying way too much for an album that has a few decent songs and the rest is #$%@&* garbage. I downloaded all but about 3 songs(I Don't Need it, Number One and Love Brings Change) from this album!! Listening to snippets of songs from this album will leave you disappointed if it's not a song you've already heard. This a very nice grown up album with a different flavor than Unpredictable. You won't be disappointed if you are a fan of his music. Definitely not a sophomore jinx!!

Free Music Review: Slow Start?...Strong Finish!
Hit: 4 Stars

This is a great album if you can get passed three overproduced, confusing and forgettable tracks. Just like me is a good song, but the next three, I Don't Need It, Number One (Feat. Lil' Wayne) and Digital Girl Feat. The-Dream are terrible. (I did enjoy weezy's verse however). Once you get passed these tracks, the album is excellent.

Favorite tracks
She Got Her Own (Feat. Ne-Yo & Fabolous)
Intuition Interlude
I Don't Know
Weekend Lover
Freak'in Me (Feat. Marsha Ambrosius)
Slow
