Free Music Notes for Jane's Addiction

Free Music Review: The first real "alternative rock" album ever
Hit: 5 Stars

I've buy this album in 1988 and i was 14 at this time. During that period i was a singer and guitar player in a metal band. Guys, this album have change my mind totally! I don't like to put the bands in a genre, but if you want to do this, this is pure alternative. As u can see, i wrote from Italy, my english is not so good, and in my Country alternative rock is known at the mass since 1994-95. After this period all the people i know have this cd in their collection! You can't lose it!

Free Music Review: Poked a hole right into myself; found someone inside
Hit: 5 Stars

This album goes best with a big fat rail. Make sure you are still listening to "Chip Away" before you come down. I sometimes think that Dave Navarro should never have left the band but then realize that he didn't. Actually, Perry Farrel left the band. I think that the live version of Jane Says on this album is much better than the one on Kettle Whistle because the one on Kettle Whistle is too commercialized-sounds like a Tropical Fiesta commercial.

Free Music Review: One of the best live CD's
Hit: 5 Stars

I first heard this album when I was in college (shortly after it was released). It blew me away then and still does to this day. I went through two audio cassettes of it because I wore the first one out. Still on the CD now. Rock and Roll, well....rocks. Sympathy for the Devil on this album is amazing, it just kills me everytime I hear it. This is one of my ten favourite albums af all time.

Free Music Review: Fantastically Pure Release
Hit: 5 Stars

I had the orginal Triple X Records release (1987) and lost the CD in college. It is without a doubt one of the purest examlpes of what modern rock should sound like. This is where Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Live, etc. learned how to be at their best. Perry's covers of Rock & Roll and Sympathy are haunting in the power he recreates over the orginals, demonstrating the band's immense talent.

Free Music Review: AWSOME!
Hit: 5 Stars

This band is one of the best! This album is the closest thing that I will ever have to seeing them live seeing how I am now 15. Without this album bands like Nirvana would be just some lame question in some gameshow. This album is by far the best! If you liked this album may i also recomend the new one "Kettle Whistle"? SIMPLY AWSOME BAND! SIMPLY AWSOME ALBUM!
