Free Music Review: Jane Says this is one Insane Album

You cna rag all ya want about Jane's Addiction's feminism i.e., kissing each other on stage, and Perry dressing in drag, but Jane's was truly influential. You can hear their influence in Nirvana, Limp Bizkit, KoRn, Rage Against the Machine, and countless other bands. A gothic singer, punk bassist, teenaged metalhead guitarist, and an African-influenced drummer painted this masterpiece of music, truly, entertainment itself. It showed how to brew together the clashing personalities of the members to a unified whole. Nothing's Shocking was a perfect bridge from Guns N' Roses to Nirvana.Free Music Review: Fine, I admit it, it's their best CD, stop hitting me!

In comparison to "Ritual", this is a better rocker and has the ability to get you moving quicker. For alt-rock comparisons, this is really an essential disc to your collection.That's actually the real selling point for this release: listening to it explains a great deal about where alt-rock was and where it was headed. You can put many other artists of the time alongside Jane's and get the context rather easily.
Highlights? Easy: "Had a Dad", "Mountain Song", "Ted...", and my favorite is "Thank you, boys", because Perry Farrell is all about delivering the goods on this disc.

I AM DEFINITELY ADDICTED to this It is a combination of MANY GREAT ROCK BANDS! Led Zep Guitars and sound,Jimmy Page, Ya Know?! :) There are Very Catchy tunes on here, I hear Slaughter, AC/DC,Creed,and the Singer sounds like the Singer from Cinderella and in some tunes he sounds like Robert Plant. I used to watch "Rock Star INXS" and I was very impressed with Dave Navarro's Guitar work and stage performance! THIS IS A MUST YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! ORDER IT NOW!!!!!!! First of all i'd like to say that whoever the kid is that wrote the
review called "I'm Addicted" should be awarded man he has very good taste in music.Second of all i'd like to say whoever this person is is so right, this album rules! I should tell you my age too... actually i'm 9 too but still this is a favorite in my cd collection i said i was 9 but that dosen't stop me from telling that I have 149 CDs in my collection.And this is still my second favorite out of 149.But I should probably skip to the chase. GET THIS AS SOON AS ENJOY!

This is a CD that gets under your skin. I find that when I don't hear Ocean Size or Summertime Rolls for a while I get shaky and begin to mumble. Given that my Keith Richards and Perry Farrell impersonations fall short to anything other than foolish, I pop this CD on and ride the wave of satisfaction.
This is one of the truest and best albums ever recorded, don't believe me? The first listen is free, friend. Just know that once you've had a taste of this cerebral manifesto to life ocean side, you'll be hooked like the rest of us.
