Free Music Notes for Nothing's ShockingFree Music Review: Jane Says... Hit: 5 Stars
One of the very best rock albums ever released. This is a classic for your collection. A must have momento of a band that was so good they redefined excellence and raised the bar musically. You will sing along with every tune and if you're like me it will bring a welcome smile to your face. This album transcends time it is as prolific and meaningful today as the first time you heard it. It made my all time top 10 albums.
Think of it this way..."You can't make it without it"

Free Music Review: essential - one of the best of all time Hit: 5 Stars
I dropped a lot of acid listening to this, traveling to and fro the beach with my peeps, this album playing in the car stereo.
I recently listened to it sober and now realize why I gravitated towards it, and so often as a youth.
It embodies the animalistic desire to free oneself from conformity, and the self, and the confines of the establishment. This was alternative before it became mainstream, hackneyed. Never before has a rock group been so adept, and never since.
Free Music Review: Classic Jane's Addiction Hit: 5 Stars
"Nothing's Shocking" is an amazing album from beginning to end, starting with the killer instrumental "Up The Beach". Classic tracks -- "Mountain Song", "Idiots Rule", "Ocean Size", "Standing In The Shower Thinking", the list goes on and on. Perry Farrell is an amazing vocalist, same goes for Dave Navarro on guitar, Eric Avery on bass, and Stephen Perkins on the skins. This is a prime example of a creative band. And the best was yet to come!
Free Music Review: A must-have for alt-rock fans Hit: 5 Stars
JA often get compared to Led Zep due to the ethnic feel of their music but to me it signifies the timelessness of this band. This record sweeps and soars through a multitude of emotions that can intoxicate you. The pure energy of this album combined with the childlike quasi-innocence of Perry singing his heart out and the great production makes this one of the best rock albums of this century. No kidding. Bear in mind this ain't no headbanger music. This is a spiritual journey.
Free Music Review: THIS IS AWESOME HEADBANG MUSIC Hit: 5 Stars
Jane's Addiction delivers a great album. They are my favorite band. The music is really explosive and getts you pumped. However, tracks such as Jane Says are slower and not as aggresive. The music is easy to relate to and yet it gets you think about overlooked simple things. Its extremly fun and creative. In addition the guitar rifts and improves are great. This album was a little hard to get into at first but eventually you'll find yourself singing along to all of it.
