Free Music Review: Buy this record
Hit: 5 Stars

How Jason Mraz doesn't get more radio play is a mystery to me. This is the best music anyone is putting out in this genre and for some reason we never hear it. I did see the video to "I'm Yours" on MTV, but he deserves more airplay. The music is layered and has complexity to it, but the sound is all summer and sunshine. It is perfect driving in the car heading someplace fun music. He takes chances musically and lyrically. I like the album top to bottom and I have listened to it non-stop since I bought it. And I almost never do that.

Free Music Review: Pop @ It's Best
Hit: 5 Stars

It all starts with a Deacon Blue riff then to Tower of Power with Jamiroquai beats and lets Pop . It follows with the not so new Jack Johnson Brett Dennen Matt Costa folk and good singing and crafting that Jason can bring to a song . Lot's of Stevie Wonder wonder to top it off . There is even some Earth Wind and Fire with ( you won't believe ) Gino Vannelli . Great recording , like it to uplift the soul on a rainy day ... Really good arrangements ... His RESTAREA is okey even that I am not very fond of Hats ...

Free Music Review: New to Jason Mraz
Hit: 5 Stars

I highly recommend Jason Mraz's music. It is easy listening with amazing lyrics. Sometimes I feel I understand his songs, and then I hear them again, and I have a new, deeper understanding of his message. There are many times during my day, when I am struggling with...whatever... and his lyrics pop into my mind: Live High, Live Mighty, Live Righteously and celebrate the malleable reality, nothing is ever as it seems.... When I hear his music, I feel happy. This music has helped open my eyes & my heart.

Free Music Review: Really impressed, excellent album
Hit: 5 Stars

I never heard of Jason Mraz until a week ago when Amazon suggested the album when I was browsing for Lizz Wright. I listened to a few samples and went out to buy the album the next day. The songs are extremely catchy, all have their own character, are really original and do not bore you after a few listens. The production is also top-notch, quality of the recording/mixing is fabulous. The use of a horn section on a few songs is excellent, reminds me of Phil Collins' earlier albums. Absolutely recommended!

Free Music Review: BUTTERFLY IS HOT!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

"I'm Yours" is the song that inspired me to buy this CD because I love it, but "Butterfly" is the song I listen to over and over and over again. "Details in the Fabric" with James Morrison is lyrical and the two of them singing together is beautiful. I also love "Coyotes" and "The Dynamo of Volition". Jason has a choir sing in one song, a chorus in another and children in another which all are awesome! Actually, the whole CD -- the lyrics, the music, the singing, the special touches -- EXCELLENT!!!
