Free Music Review: Linkin + Jay-Z = Good

I know. MTV hyped up this cd and when I got it as a present, I was shocked to see it only had 6 tracks.
Whatever, I listened and became engrossed. I believe Shinoda did most of the work. I think I watched him on the behind the scenes DVD.
The concept is great. Combine rapper Jay-Z with Linkin Park's heavy music. And it worked.
Obviously they spent time on it, mixing and doing re-takes of Jay-Z's lines. But the end product sounded great.
I think it was a risk combining these two artists. But they were able to create a great cd, which I think will be successful.

before you guys start saying how much nerve this "kid" might have for righting this and how biased he must be, I'm 14 and i listen to both LP and Jay-Z.
Okay then. Here are some points I just wanted to get across:
1.Collision Course IS NOT a remix album; it's a mash-up.
2.Jay-Z does rap, not hip-hop.
3.Linkin Park is not nu-metal or heavy metal or metal period; their rock/alternative.
4.Both artists are both awesome in their own right
5.In regard to number 3, you can't be a Linkin Park fan and hate rap. What do you think Mike Shinoda is doing?
6.This is just for music critics in general: yeah, you have to listen to the lyrics, but don't judge a song on just soley on them; listen to the meaning
7. And last, dont go bashing a band just because you dont like them and listen to the whole cd before you write a review
Like a lot of people who liked the album, the only complaint that i have was that in my opinion, the cd wasn't long enough.

This is awesome the mix is unbelievable. I cant believe how well LP came with Jay-Z. All i have to say is Wow. I especcially liked:

What's amazing is that everyone who wrote a negative review seems to not have finished the 6th grade. This album is musically very good, since the two artists took their original pieces and were able to fuse them together. That takes talent. Rap and contemporary metal fans will appreciate this work.Free Music Review: Meh....
