All Jay Z, no filler. That's exactly what you get when listen to the Blueprint. This is Jigga's best album, beaten out only by Reasonable Doubt. It has hits singles such as "Izzo", "Girls, Girls, Girls", and "Song Cry", as well other tracks such as "Takeover", the famous diss aimed at Nas, and "Renegade", with a guest appearance from Eminem. The Blueprint also has two of the best producers in all of hip hop here, Kanye West and Just Blaze. This album not only solidified Jay Z as the King of New York, but also put Kanye West on the map as one of the hottest producers around. BOTTOM LINE:
Looking back to 1995, this has become my 2nd favorite Jay-Z album. Very close to 'Reasonable Doubt' (but 'RD' has more sentimental value). This is Jigga's perfect balance of street and commercial. holla.
