Free Music Notes for Uni Verse of Song: FrenchFree Music Review: Almost perfect! Hit: 5 Stars
This CD instantly became my two-year-old's favourite. He would stand, mesmerized, listening intently. It became quite easy to get him to ask in French to listen to the disk--he was very motivated.
Almost all the songs are good arrangements, though a few are spoiled a bit by corny voices and such--like people barking like dogs to the tune of Happy Birthday and one of the female singers putting on a hick accent for her part in Old MacDonald. Otherwise, the arrangements are quite musical and pleasant for a parent to hear eight gazillion times.
I heartily recommend this recording!
Free Music Review: FANTASTIC! Hit: 5 Stars
I am amazed at just how much both my 2-1/2 year old girl and 9-1/2 month old son LOVE this CD! These are easily the best and most amusing renditions of Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald I've ever heard (Wheels on the Bus gets my little one laughing and waving his arms). And my girl has not only learned French words from the tape, she now asks me "What is the French word for ( )?" as we go about our day. This is FUN music!
Free Music Review: Among my favorite kid's albums! Hit: 5 Stars
I think that this CD is so cute! The songs are well chosen favorites and for the most part (Happy Birthday excepted:) really very nicely performed. They alternate between French and English to teach French vocab. They use kids for alot of it and my 17 month old breaks out in a smile when she hears their little voices. It seems to be one of her favorites too.
Free Music Review: When fussy, pop this cd in! Hit: 5 Stars
Hello!
We started our now 8 month old little girl listening to this cd from the very beginning.. now she absolutely loves it! When we're in the car and she seems a bit upset (crying..) I pop this cd in and it calms her right down! It's a fun cd that my husband and I both enjoy as well.. I definitely recommend it!
Free Music Review: Tres bien Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great compilation of nursery rhymes for your child (or the children in us all)! This is good clean fun and, with Jean Rene, one cannot go wrong. The mixture of French and English rolls right along and you do not need to worry about your knowledge of French. Sing along with your children. You will be glad you did.
