The preceding reviews speak volumes concerning why all people who love good music ought to buy this DVD. Jeff Beck is untouchable here. But, more importantly for me (an old guitar enthusiast now in his sunset years), all these players are obviously having a great time. With apologies to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck is the best guitarist alive. He is an apex shredder. He bends strings with abandon. He elicits tones with the whammy bar that no one else can duplicate. His sound is original, distictive and instantly recognizable. The same Jeff Beck "back-up band" is together on EC Crossroads and I did not think they could top their performance there. From the very first song on this DVD I was stunned at the sound recording quality. All four musicians are in top form and obviously having a great time. Vinnie proves once again that he is one of the greatest drummers, ever. Without a doubt, one of the best DVD purchases I've ever made.Free Music Review: How Does He Do That?

It's incredible how much emotion Jeff Beck gets across in these rock tunes without any words at all. He struts and prances and frets and makes it all sound so easy and playful. He can be mellow, too, and wail. It's so cool to hear his electric guitar do the singing and just amazing how he makes it sound. I read that he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently. Well deserved.Free Music Review: Just PHENOMENAL!!!
