I just recently got into Jeff's music & I am still reeling from the beauty, honesty & sheer brilliance that is in his stuff. I just picked up this "Legacy Edition" of "Grace" about 3 hours ago, & I have to say that it is beautifully packaged with expanded artwork, a gorgeous tri-fold case that holds the 2 cd's & the DVD of the making of "Grace", & of course, extensive commentary on the bonus tracks in a very attractive booklet with lots of stunning photos of Jeff & his band. If I sound like a fanatic, it's because Jeff's music & words inspire such incredible passion in fans of his music.
For those not wanting to plop down $26 or so dollars for such a beautiful work of art, then I strongly suggest that you scrounge up $12 bucks & buy the "Grace" cd. After hearing that, I guarantee that you'll jump head-first into the gorgeousness of Jeff's legacy.

What more can possibly be said about this album? Nothing. It must be experienced; it must be felt. If you happen to have never encounted it, and you happen to be reading this . . . just go listen to "Grace" . . .Jeff Buckley was lost too soon and this album is one of the great classics in my opinion.
I discovered this record in New Orleans one early morning at a friend's house as I awoke from an all-night festival dancing on bar tops and wandering the quarter. I was loose, tired, happy, and receptive . . . and Jeff Buckley just blew my mind.
My wife chose Buckley as our dance song at our wedding and I cried and cried.
Do yourself a favor and check out this work of art.

For those who are already fans, this is a must-have. Included are all of the best Jeff Buckley songs, as well as b-sides and songs you probably have never heard him sing. The 3rd disc has the videos which is very important considering you will most likely never see them again on television.
For those people who have never heard Jeff Buckley,
you are missing something big. During his short life, he wrote and sang some of the best and most beautiful songs of all time. While the Grace album is a fantastic introduction to his work, this special edition gives you a little taste of everything.
This is definitely well worth any amount of money you would pay.

Most artists out there work for years and years to create a special album. Jeff Buckley did it in his first studio release. This Legacy Edition does add to the overall value of the album.
It's such a shame that Forget Her was not included on the original release for personal reasons. Its a beautiful, heartbreaking piece of great music. Other tracks on CD2 are great, the covers are beautiful, some more experimental than others.
The DVD is OK, with Forget Her video interesting with some rare footage from Europe. The early videos are great to look at again. I would have wanted more interviews and info.

this guy was a tornado..so amazing that the word "amazing" does far from do him justice. jeff buckley was blessed with the most beautiful voice i have ever heard. this album will make you love him and if not..you're just not ready for the miracle called jeff buckley yet. On "Grace" Jeff Buckley opens the door to his soul and you will not be able to forget his voice ever again..he will expand in you and you will be hooked faster than you know. I'm not exaggerating, it's true - i know it by experience. You will want more after you heard this album, you'll always want more, believe me.
