This album is perfect, amazing,Wonderfull !!!! Mister Jeff "angelical voice" Buckley, had an amazing voice and talent, and left this world too young, because he died in a tragic (and stupid) drowning accident in Memphis on May 29,1997. This Deluxe Edition (first commercial recording in four song EP)rounds this unassuming little collectible into a 2 hours and 37 minutes (including the 11 minute DVD) and recorded at a New York cafe on July 19 and August 17th of 1993,""live at Sin-é Legacy Edition"" captures Buckley alone with his voice and guitar. Free Music Review: So good it should come with a warning! Hit: 5 Stars
Jeff Buckley's music can make your soul drip honest to god tears. This cd is an expanded version of the ep Jeff released while he was finishing work on his first full length disk "Grace." (Another album that should be owned by everyone on the planet with ears) Buckley's understanding and use of the power of nontraditional musical structure and his nonwestern infulences make his music likly to retain its impact for years to come. While he has maintained a cult following from the days of the release of "Grace," this expanded look at Jeff live with a small crowd of fans grants new insight into the performer for those of us not lucky enough to have seen him before his death. This album is a great disk for both the ravinous fan, or some one who just wants to find out what all the fuss is about.
Free Music Review: a most beautiful scrapbook... Hit: 5 Stars
Jeff Buckley had a rare voice, like his father's, a voice so delicate that flirted with perfection. This collection of live performances could not be more sparse or honest - just him and his guitar and some cafe clatter. Often times I've wished to see the artist before he or she became huge. In a small way this is a chance to at least hear Jeff Buckley before too many people cared, before he had to care (if he ever did). Of all his recordings (so painfully few) these put the talent and passion out for all to see - the result is astounding. It's selfish to think of all the music that died with him in that river - instead it's better to celebrate and hear him at his most naked, perhaps happiest time, performing songs that he obviously loved in ways that made us love them too.
Free Music Review: Great CD Set Hit: 5 Stars
It is quite a treat to hear Jeff live ... even if it is just as a recording, there is something more personal to it. I think all Buckley fans share in their love for his warm and loving spirit, as well as his amazing, and often angelic vocal phrasings.
The only slight disappointment in this collection is the DVD - It is way Too Short (total runtime approx. 15 mins) and shows only two songs (a verse from "The Way Young Lovers Do" and all of "Kick Out The Jams") with the rest being mostly rehashed interview footage that is also on the Grace Legacy DVD.
None the less, if you can purchase this set for under $30 bucks, it is worth it for the audio CDs alone - the DVD is truly then just a little bonus.

Free Music Review: a key moment for jeff buckley Hit: 5 Stars
Live at Sin-e is a great album for the serious Jeff Buckley fan. It captures him at a moment of musical transition, as he was saying goodbye to solo performances in the tiny club Sin-e and preparing to form the band that would eventually record his only studio album, Grace.
Live at Sin-e documents Buckley as he was described by his friends: the human jukebox, the goofball, the uncanny mimic, the exceptional musical artist who was always pushing himself into new territory. At times his performances are over-the-top, at times sub-par (for Buckley). But what really matters how genuine he is. He was a performer above all else, and this recording captures him at the end of his formative period.
