Although I feel for the fellow who thought this was a protected CD, Live at Sin-E [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED] isn't a protected disc. It is completely compliant with "Red Book" standards. It played in all devices I tried including my computer, portable CD player, iPod, and home DVD player.As far as the content of Live at Sin-E, It is simply breathtaking. I, unfortunately, never got into Jeff Buckley when he was alive and this tender look at the man behind Grace, is enlightening. The more I listen to this album the more I appreciate what I'm hearing. The reproduction of the material is superb and feels like you're there with him. A truly awe inspiring album.

I dont want to get too excited here, but if any jeff buckley fan is reading this, then I just want to express how important it is that you buy this album. Grace was a masterpiece (as we all know) and in my opinion, so was the sin-e ep. This release features other solo performances from jeff's solo apperances at sin-e. And believe me, you will not be dissapointed. This not a collection of Demos, or other rubbish that is just being relesed for the hell of it (like the "2nd album"). In my opinion this should have been released 10 years ago. and check out the dvd that comes with it too. Jeff reads a poem that could make any grown man cry....BUY IT NOW!!!!

This CD set, probably more than any other product released, reveals more of the personality and charm of Jeff while interacting with the audience, and more importantly, shows his passion and emotion for the music he plays. Listeners familiar with the songs released on the Grace album will find them re-presented in a new, but certainly not diminished, light. Some songs in particular that show their more sentimental sides are "Eternal Life", "Grace", and "Lover, You Should've Come Over".
This is an exquisite representation of Jeff's talent and charisma. A must have.

Outstanding release. The DVD blew me away (though it would be nice to someday see all of the footage but the material here with the interview is crazy great). Let's hope the Buckley vault continues to yield more releases. In the short time he was with us, he gave us monumental, from the heart, music with a voice that was truly a gift. It's so nice to have this release as I hadn't gotten the chance to see him in a small venue like Sin-e when he was just a guy doin' his thing like any other artists kicking around NYC. I've been awaiting this release for months and was not dissapointed at all. From the first note that resonates through your speakers, to the final, uproarious applause, this CD keeps you hooked in. Jeff's mellifluous voice is like nothing anyone has ever heard before and will ever hear again. This concert is great because it gives you the feel of Jeff being right in the room with you. If you're familiar with Sin-E at all you'll know why.
This is the ultimate Jeff Buckley experience. Buy it if you want to hear true musical genius.
