I must say I enjoyed this album very much.I've read several complaints about the sound quality but I didn't find this a problem. Anyone around in those days knows when a band plays from the back of a truck the sound is primative.There were no fancy recording methods so music was a very organic experience.But enough about sound quality. What we're allowed to share here is a moment in the life of a classic San Francisco band at the top of their game. Raw,intense and a little bit stoned (note Kantner's comment to Grace at the beginning)they give us a chance to be "at" the gig in Golden Gate Park. Very similar to "Bless it's Pointed Little Head" in content (with a few exceptions) this is a must have for those who remember the times or wish they were there.I love this stuff! Keep it coming.

Rare recording capturing the Psychedelic legends live at the Golden Gate Park on July 5th, 1969 (when they shared the bill with The Grateful Dead). Features tracks from the then-current album Volunteers alongside live favorites from the Airplane's earlier days including their two biggest hit singles, 'White Rabbit' and 'Somebody To Love'.
