I bought this CD for my husband, who is a computer programmer. He often complained that by the middle of the day, his mind felt burnt out after a morning of staring at the computer screen. He has limited time for breaks, so napping is not easy. When I found this CD, I thought it would be worth a try.
And... it works. He loves it. Even the 10 minute nap revives him, and he gets to start the second half of his work day feeling brand new. (He naps in his car.) I have to say... he comes home in a much better frame of mind, too... so, it's improved both of our lives! Definitely worth it.
I enjoy it myself, although I don't use it as often. I was concerned about falling asleep and not waking back up, but it's easy to wake back up with the chimes at the end of each track. I enjoy all of Dr. Thompson's work, but this is probably the best for people who need a refresher in the middle of their workday, and don't have much time for it. The delta waves take the listener into a deep sleep. Even 10 minutes makes a BIG difference.
