The vinyl edition of this record was one I bought in the "bargain bin" shortly after my return to the US in 1972. I was amazed and personally consider it one of the better English "blues" albums. There is a hint of jazz to the playing and singing that makes it somewhat unique and, to me, adds a special flavor to the album. Of course, pianist and vocalist Pete Wingfield went on to a long and illustrious career as a solo artist and session musician, and has also toured with some of the biggest names in music.
To me, the bonus tracks are interesting, some more than others, but just to have the original album available is a treat I never thought I'd hear.
