Being a mountain climber, it was easy to get started with this book. And once started reading this book I could not put it down. It went with me daily, from start to finish I was captivated. The writing style was dynamic, even poetic. You were there with Dr. Greg, and it is really mind blowing how he got on the inside of the 'Islamic faith'. Such a great human story, and to know it is real is uplifting. Greg is truly a saint and David is a remarkable journalist. This book should be required reading for all Americans, it is truly an epic. I wonder how much we could accomplish if instead of spending time in church listening to someone tell us how we should live, we passed the basket around and spent that time and money helping others as Greg Mortenson has done. Books like "Three Cups of Tea" are my inspiration. God bless Greg Mortenson and his entire family.
