Free Music Notes for This Is Me...ThenFree Music Review: A great, classic CD Hit: 4 StarsThese days, it's definately difficult to find an album in which you can listen to every song. Generally, an album will have 2 fantastic singles and the rest is, well, filler.
Maybe I'm biased because I'm a J.Lo fan, but this album is her best, ever. Yeah, "J.Lo" had "Love Don't Cost A Thing" and whatnot, but honestly, did you make it past track three? I didn't think so.
"This Is Me...Then" I got when I was in grade 9 and it has remained one of my all time faves to this day. It has a nice slow, but somewhat upbeat flavour to it and you can listen to the entire thing. It's especially nice for something like a dinner party (for a CD) or just relaxing, even driving.
Notable tracks (aside from All I Have and Jenny From The Block): Still, Dear Ben, The One (second version I like), Again, Loving You. But really, they're all pretty good.
Definately a must have!
Free Music Review: Worse than I thought Hit: 1 StarsI actually got this CD as a present from one of my teachers as a gift for a Christmas gift exchange. After listening to it for the first time, I thought to myself that it was the best thing ever, but I guess that feeling was only pretend. I eventually realized that the melodies of these songs (and all other modern songs) are really boring and impossible to enjoy. I prefer my mom's 1950s and '60s music, as well as classical music, where the songs have melodies that are catchy and nice, and that one can enjoy!
Free Music Review: stop torturing ameica Hit: 2 Starsseriously J>LO CAN not SING. And what makes this album even worse is taht she is tryuing to prove that she is an alright singer i like only 2 tracks which are still and alli have which can be downloaded from itunes insteda of wasting money on this gabage
Free Music Review: This is her now! Hit: 5 StarsI remember this album when I was in the 10th grade. I love this album. It sounds alluring and soulful. This album continued Jennifer to express herself musically. This album is a testament to her soul, her spirit and her present state of mind. Every song feels like a no-holds-barred interview with J that has been set to a pulsating beat. This album has been certified 2x Platinum. Remember, this was 2002-2003.
Free Music Review: It's Grammy time! Hit: 5 StarsJennifer's third non-remix album is an example of musical maturity and amazing depth. The beats are hot and the lyrics reveal the depth and stability of this accomplished 35 year old woman. Jennifer Lopez is so brilliant, I don't quite understand why she doesn't have a Grammy yet. Maybe next year she'll get one. In any case, this album is amazing, especially that song "Jenny From the Block," which shows that's she's really just a down to earth Latina from the Bronx. A simple girl with simple needs. And that song "Dear Ben," which she dedicated to her excludive sweetheart, is one of the greatest love songs I can imagine. Buy this album and be prepared to have your world rocked.
