Free Music Notes for Famous Blue Raincoat: 20th Anniversary EditionFree Music Review: Jennifer Warnes Still a Phenomenon Hit: 5 Stars
Jennifer Warnes is one of those master singers whose celebrity has not caught up to her voice.
The anniversary release of her Blue Raincoat CD is an absolute gem resonating and transporting with the poetic music of Leonard Cohen.
A match made in heaven? Maybe not, but, definitely a match made for eternity.
Free Music Review: I've owned this for twenty years..... Hit: 5 Stars
...and I love it more now than ever. Joan Of Arc, A Singer Must Die, Famous Blue Raincoat....masterpieces! I urge anyone who cares about brilliant songwriting and beautiful singing to give this record a spin. Grab a glass of wine on a cold winter's night and let Jenny and Lenny take you away.
Free Music Review: A Favorite Returns Hit: 5 Stars
I'm so glad to see this album resurrected, as it is one of my favorites of all time. The songs are amazing, Jennifer Warnes has never been better, and the extra songs are great. If you've never heard FBR, please give it a listen. It's one of the best kept secrets in contemporary music.
Free Music Review: Great Music, Great Remastering. Hit: 5 Stars
This is wonderful album and is even more enjoyable now. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't listened to Jennifer Warnes or Leonard Cohen before. The songs are wonderful and Jennifer Warnes seem to really understand the songs. Highly recommended for audiophiles.
Free Music Review: Twenty Years Later even better Hit: 5 Stars
If you have the original CD of FBR, this anniversary addition is worth adding to your collection. The remastered sound is better overall, deeper, tighter bass, more ambience on vocals and the additional bonus cuts are great songs and are very well mastered. Recommended
