If your looking for quick laughs i would recommend that you buy their second cd or anyone after that, especially " Stop Staring at Me" that one is histerical. This one is good to have though to complete the set.Free Music Review: These guys are famous?

First off, I want to say that I love the idea of prank calls. When I was in high school, about a year or so before the Jerky Boys even came about, a friend and myself used to hook up our radio shack telephone mic to my 10 dollar ge tape recorder and recorded literally hours of prank calls along these lines, so I dont want to be mistaken for being a prude. I never listened to these guys after hearing so much about them for the past few years, and i finally decided to check this cd out. The calls on this (and their other) cd's are not only unoriginal and lame, they are totally NOT funny. Why? Well, if you listen to the call subjects, most of them comment on how unbelievable the jerky boy caller sounds. The first rule of successful prank calling is to convince the subject that the call is real; keeping the situations realistic is what makes the calls funny. For example, on one of the calls, they call a jewelery store and say that they want to unload some diamonds from some guy that they just whacked out. This in itself already unbelievable. No criminal with even a miniscule IQ rating would be that stupid. None of the call subjects really sounded fooled to me on this album. All the JB's really did was make some pretty lame calls, and throw in an absurdly excessive amount of foul language to make it "funny." If you want to hear absolutely hilarious, more realistic and well thought out prank calls, I would highly recommend ANY (and all) of the Touch Tone Terrorists CD's as opposed to any of the jerky boys material. This stuff just is not funny, it's lame...and I find it hard to beleive that these guys make a living on such poorly done prank calls.
