Free Music Review: Best Album Ever
Hit: 5 Stars

Jerry Cantrell may have been with on of the best bands ever but his talent is endless, just check out "Boggy Depot" this ablum explores a different side to Jerry its kind of softer stuff with a country twist but it still kicks.
With Degradation Trip you get the best of what Jerry has to offer, its a real trip from the first to last song, it explores many different emotions and can go from kick A__ to mellow and back. I have been a long time fan and try to promote Jerry when ever I get the chance. He is the Best! If you like Alice In Chains you'll love Jerry, If you don't know Alice then listen to Jerry first and form a fresh opinion. I can take him either way!

Free Music Review: Boggy Depot was never this deep...
Hit: 5 Stars

I was glad to have waited to pick up this double CD set, as it first was released as a 14 track single CD. Some of the songs reminded me of Alice-in-Chains, but that's to be expected. Some were purely Cantrell however, but I couldn't help but wonder if many of the songs were written about his old AIC partner, Layne Staley. There seemed to be a re-occuring theme running through the tracks, although songs didn't sound the same; faded glory, stardom can destroy, etc. This is an excellent piece of work, and I'm glad it was released as intended. There's a lot of dispair and tortured feelings going on in Degradation Trip, but it's all worth the musical value.

Free Music Review: Hard Rock At It's Level Best - " Degradation Trip"
Hit: 5 Stars

Jerry Cantrell it appears from the first note of this cd was more than just the guitarist for Alice In Chains...the atomsphere he creates here is nothing short of amazing! His singing is as strong as his guitar and I am very impressed with this cd as it really has Jerry bringing it all together...as one reviewer remarked the first cd Bogey Depot was a solo album from a member of a band...this cd is far superior in that it has its own personality and takes you down in the hole of Jerry's soul...get it play it and be glad that with all the junk metal being made lately this is real rock ....and it will make you appreciate real talent and creativity!

Free Music Review: An incredible rarity
Hit: 5 Stars

In this day of mediocre, mass produced corporate rock, this album is a much needed retreat. I can't remember the last double album I purchased, let alone one that is as fine as this from beginning to end. The songs play like a story, an emotional outpour from an extremely talented artist that has gone largely unnoticed since his days with Alice. It's a shame indeed that this album receives little to no airplay. But that's understandable, it is far too intricate and independent to fit in with the bland radio playlists that suffocate our airwaves. Thank you Jerry, for presenting your fans with this tremendously crafted exposition.

Free Music Review: THE BEST ROCK ALBUM SINCE DIRT!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

No question about it, Degradation Trip Vols.1 and 2 is the most awesome piece of art since Alice's "DIRT". If you liked Degradation Trip, you'll love this. Jerry's dark signature guitar and lyrics are remeniscent of Alice in Chains and it hauntingly reminds of the great Layne Staley. The album rocks!!
All fans should buy this record. It is definetly ashame that masterpieces like this get no airplay. My favorite track is Bargain Basement Howard Hughes but they are all strong.
If you are still into so called "GRUNGE" like myself, this TRIP is worth the taking.
ROCK ON!!!!!!!!
