It`s good to have another JGB release,my friend got this for me the other day.I really like i`ll take a melody and mission in the the rain,in fact they are all grate songs.even Donna`s singing isn`t to bad it`s a lot better than her horrible screaming on dicks picks vol 11 .I love Garcia`s guitar playing it`s so hypnotic and psychedlic.Sit back relax have some chemicals and listen.Free Music Review: This is what it's all about!

If you're not a Garcia fan this disc won't make you one. On the other hand, if you've been a follower this is a great addition. You get to hear Donna Jean at her best. You also here some great arrangements. A must for the fan...In the words of Jerry Garcia, its like licorice. "Not a whole lot of people like licorice, but those that do really love licorice"

There's nothing I can say about Jerry that hasn't been said, so i'll mention how incredable of a job Donna did on Strange Man! Why the Dead never did this with her is beyond me. Great, soulful stuff.......it almost doesntmatter that she doesnt hit perfect notes allnight, it's her soul that comes thru. Thanks.Free Music Review: JGB !!

this is great stuff,recorded when JGB was at the height of it's powers, with perfect Donna G and Kieth accomp.The orpheum in SF was always a favorite for the band,and this nite is no exception.A great addition to your collection.( gotta love those mornful ballads!!)
