There are already enough reviews written about this high-voltage, always entertaining Original Cast Recording. My two cents' worth: Great re-incarnations of the original Four Seasons' hits. EVERYONE in the cast is marvelous, especially John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli. I'm sure everyone here in Plattsburgh, NY -- a friendly town of 18 thousand plus on Lake Champlain 61 miles south of Montreal -- is very proud of Mr. Young, the Plattsburgh High School grad. His proud mom is a member of Temple Beth Israel and has to pay for her tickets -- just like everyone else -- when she wants to see him on Broadway.Free Music Review: Lovely Job

It is hit and miss as to if a Artist's Catalog will come together as a musical on Broadway
Jersey Boys got it right, but perhaps it is because the Four Seasons are such a classic and their songs are so well known. The cast recording does a very good job with the Four Seasons songs, including Big Girl's Don't Cry, Sherry and My Eyes Adored You.
I had forgotten how many songs by the Four Seasons I knew, and the Broadway show bought it all back. I also picked up one of the Four Seasons Greatest HIts packages and it is fun to listen to this and the other record.

We recently saw the Broadway musical and can honestly say it was the greatest musical experience my wife or myself have ever had. The electricity in the audience was overwhelming as was the entire experience. I have never seen an audience stop a performace in the middle with standing ovations but this happened more then once. This is something we will never forget and hope to be lucky enough to get back to New York and see the show again. We bought the CD at the theater and listen to it all the time. I highly recommend it. It cost much more at the theater but it is worth every penny.Free Music Review: SIMPLY WONDERFUL

I am simply astounded by this incredible CD. Pitch perfect renditions of 4 Seasons hits such as "Sherry' 'Walk Like a Man' 'Big Girls Don't Cry' 'My Eyes Adored You' 'Rag Doll' and more and the 4 Seasons led by the incredible falsetto of John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli is simply wonderful. It re-creates an era when teens, quarters in hand, played these songs on jukeboxes all across the country. Those teens have now grown and moved on but this joyful album brings back fond memories of a group whose only aim was to entertain and lift the spirits.Free Music Review: GREAT SHOW, GREAT CD!

I saw this show on Broadway--it was amazing! The whole audience was on its feet. The story was interesting, and the musical performances were fantastic. What a voice the lead has!! It is always challenging to do music everyone already knows. People come in with expectations--these performers exceeded my expectations!
