I wasn't terribly familiar with jesse cook's music, other than the odd track on some compilations, but "frontiers" is very enjoyable. Sadly, the only weak track that seemed a little out of place and contrived was the Bob Dylan cover of "It Ain't Me". Covers can be cool but this one just didn't do it for me. If you've never heard Jesse Cook's music before, I can describe it in one word....awesome! Fantastic flamenco guitar; captures the heart and soul of what you'd expect to hear. I saw him in concert recently, and it was every bit as good as the studio mix...actually, even better!Free Music Review: Great Latin Guitar Music

I love listening to almost all of the songs on this album. The only songs I don't care for are the ones that feature a singer as well. If you like cool guitar music with a latin flavor, this is the album for you.
