This CD set is a great sampling of Jesse Cook. If your just tuning in, or on a tight budget, get this CD set. Otherwise, I reccomend getting ALL his other CD/Albums individually. I ordered Gravity and Vertigo at the same time I purchased this one and there is a lot of cross over. Had I done it over, I would have just purchased the two single albums - Gravity & Vertigo - and would not buy this one. Since I own them all now (not a bad thing *smile*) I will just give this set to my sister who is not a Jesse Cook fan yet :)Free Music Review: Vivid, exciting performances, amazing technique

I bought this double album after a friend introduced me to Jesse Cook's musicianship a few months ago. Not only are the songs first-rate but the performances by Mr. Cook are exciting and attention-grabbing. There's an unusually-wide range of styles sprinkled throughout the tracks of these two discs which kept the listening fresh and even surprising at times. I especially liked the Middle-Eastern-themed songs. A huge bargain to boot, and an ideal exposure to this music and artist for a very fair price.Free Music Review: As expected - great!

Having owned all the CD's that these favorites were taken from, I think this CD is an excellent compilation of the best of Jesse Cook's work. Of course, there are more songs I would like to see on it, but there's always personal preference, and they couldn't include ALL of them. I recommend this CD (actually a 2-CD set) to all Jesse Cook fans. It made an excellent birthday gift for my husband, the one who introduced me to Jesse Cook's wonderfully original music.Free Music Review: Nice, just really nice

This is a really nice introduction to Jesse Cook, I don't think there is a bad song in the bunch.
I have just recently learned I really like this kind of music I bought a Rodiguio & Gaberila (spelling) cd, I loved it, I was hooked, started looking at flamenco in Amazon and Jesse kept coming up, and, yes I liked his clips best. so, yep, this is more than worth the price of admission.

I bought this CD after hearing "Mario Takes a Walk" on Sirius radio several times. I found this cd which seems to be a compilation of some of his previous CD's. Althought I had never heard of Jesse Cook before purchasing this cd, the musical samples sounded interesting. I have really enjoyed this cd which is a radical change from what I normally listen to in music.
