Free Music Review: JMAC Is the best!

Okay first off, I listen to a variety of music, I'm so sick and tired of people judging him just because of his looks. Sure he might not be hot, but I still think he can sing and comparing him to Britney Spears, first off I hate Britney, I've hated Britney since I first heard of her, I don't like her music, I don't think she can sing and I think she's just a slut. Her voice does not compare to Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson or my personal favorite Christina Aguilera- who I may not like her now, but she can definately sing. Unlike Britney Spears.
Now enough of that. I love my JMac. I loved him on All My Children, I loved him in Dreamstreet, I loved him on Summerland and I love his CD. And I may be lame, hate me all you want, but I 'm just going to say this, first off, why come and review a CD, when I assume most of you haven't bought or listened to at all. You are just judging him, which I don't think is right, at least listen to his music before you go around writing reviews on stuff. I love JMac so much, I saw him twice this summer, yes 2 times within 2 months of each other, he is incredibly nice and sweet.
Now onto my review, I'm not going to give a rating system just my take on them
1. She's No You- I love this song and I loved it when he sang it live too, and it's a great way to start off the CD, it has a good beat and the song is great, I think it's sweet, like he loves this girl so much, that no one else matters except for her
2. Beautiful Soul- one of my faves, except it's overplayed, but I love it none the less, it's incredibly good and one of the better songs on the CD
3. Get Your Shine On- It has a good beat, I liked it when he sang it live, just because he took off his jacket and outerwear and started dancing to it, lol, it was great, but it's not one of my faves
4. Take Your Sweet Time- Okay I love this song, although I'm so jealous of the girls that got to go up on stage and have him sing this song to them, but this song is great, one of my faves
5. Without You- I love this song too, geesh I suck, lol, I think it's good, it has a good beat and a sweet song about how he could never be without anyone, except for the girl he's with
6. Why Don't You Kiss Her?- This is such a nice song, I love the meaning, best friends and wanting to date and him going why doesn't he just give in and kiss her already, I thought the message was great and it's slow but it's a great song
7. That Was Then- more upbeat, but it's a great song, about how he will do anything and change for the girl he loves
8. Come To Me- definately one of my faves on the CD, has a great beat and it's all together a great song
9. What's Your Name?- Well it's definately more upbeat then his other tracks, but I love the song nevertheless, it's great
10. Because You Live- My favorite song on this CD. The song is awesome, the words, the lyrics, Jesse's voice and it all comes together beautifully in this song, I love this song so much
11. Why Is Love So Hard To Find- It's good, has a great meaning
12. The Stupid Things- Okay I admit at first this song didn't make sense to me and I didn't like it, then I thought about it, and I like it, it's not one of my faves, but he's basically saying that he may do a ton of stupid things in his relationship with this girl, but it doesn't reflect on how he feels about the girl

Disky. 2005.Jesse McCartney is so pinup-ready, so boy-bandishly appealing in that shaggy-sweet kind of way, that anyone older than 17 will likely be rolling their eyes at him. You know what comes next: they shouldn't. In a classic case of can-that-many-teenage-girls-be-wrong?, McCartney's solo debut sparkles?the danceable tracks call to mind Michael Jackson in his early '80s heydey, the ballads reek of Babyface, and the rest rolls up Hall & Oates, Craig David, and flecks of Usher into a rib-sticking concoction anybody with an ear for pop will want to swallow whole. It's not exactly brain food?the tracks he co-wrote, including standout and opener "She's No You," "What's Your Name," and "That Was Then," are little more than smooth, shiny come-ons telling high school girls what they want to hear. And there's no denying the disc is front-loaded, with the relationshippy stuff starting to wear as track 12 approaches. But despite those things?and despite the name he's made for himself on TV (first on All My Children and more recently on WB's Summerland), which will only add to his early panning among "serious" listeners?Beautiful Soul sets out plenty of reasons to believe that this heartthrob, no matter how long his tousle-haired beauty holds up, has got soul to burn. --Tammy La Gorce
